The wines of La Boatina are created from the 55 hectares of estate vineyard in the Doc Isonzo wine zone, between Cormòns and Gorizia. Purchased by Loretto Pali in the seventies, the company has become a leading voice in the Friulian and national wine world. The group’s wine maker, Domenico Lovat, together with Gianni Menotti, is able to make the best use of the land so as to achieve the finest wines, the fruit of a careful selection of the premium autochthonous and international grape varieties. Friulano, Sauvignon and Pinot grigio, Chardonnay, Ribolla gialla and Verduzzo, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, are the grape varieties that are expertly worked for a wine production of DOC Isonzo wines, which wine lovers have chosen to drink on a daily basis, elected for their quality. Whilst for special occasions, the jewels in La Boatina’s crown are the unfailing Verduzzo Pèrle and the Ribolla gialla Pertè, which the winery has recently proposed in an original sparkling version.
